The failing appliance has been removed from service, and all search requests should succeed again.
ITS will repair the failed node and return it to service later. At this time, the cause is unknown.
Since approximately 1:32 a.m., one of the Penn State Search Engine appliances has stopped responding, and has not been properly taken out of the load balance. Half of the search requests will time out with an error. Search users may retry their search requests to reach the working appliance.
ITS hopes to have a resolution shortly.
