When recent changes were made to this server (please refer to ITS Alert #2542), the vendor neglected to inform ITS of new settings that needed to be made, thus creating this latest outage. ITS has worked with the vendor and all the necessary setting changes have been made and implemented. No data was lost during this outage and the server is functioning as expected.
Starting around 11:30 PM on Jan 17, 2013, saverestore.its.psu.edu started to become un-responsive. We are looking into the state of the server and will update the alert when we know more.
