Currently the fps.psu.edu is restored and working properly.
DIMC is still out of service. We are actively working on this now.
The status will be updated as things progress.
This upgrade will take place tonight during an extended maintenance window from 12:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Please refer to the original alert for additional details.
At 0530 a second failure was detected during data migration. The decision was made to roll back the changes for FPS-3.0.0 to the previous release (2.3.3). The reason for the failures is currently under investigation.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2014, during an extended maintenance window (12:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform a software upgrade that impacts Digital Identity Management Center (DIMC) sessions and Friends of Penn State (FPS) logins.
The purpose of the change is to allow for World Campus non-credit students to be delegated access accounts. There are several changes that will take place during the maintenance window. The changes are to facilitate a new SCIM RESTful API for the Destiny project.
