The ITS VMHost service degradation has been resolved. IBM was able to fix the storage issue and our ESX hosts had full access to the affected lun as of Wednesday morning. We are continuing to work with our customers to merge the data from the original and restored systems as well with our vendors to prevent this issue from occurring again. For more information about this incident, please contact email@example.com.
IBM and our storage partner are continuing to investigate the problem. We brought the most recent backups of the affected VMs online to prevent further downtime. Additional information will be sent to the owners of the affected systems. This alert will remain open while investigation continues into the cause of this issue.
We are continuing to work with our storage provider and vendors. The restores are progressing and we will update this alert when we have more information.
We are continuing to troubleshoot the storage issue affecting the ITS VMHost service. We are also starting a restore of the affected VMs from last night\'s backup as a fallback, in case we are unable to resolve the storage issue. We will update this alert when we have more information.
The ITS VMHost service began experiencing what appears to be a storage issue around 3:15pm today. This issue is affecting around 10% of the systems currently hosted by the ITS VMHost service. We are working with our storage provider to resolve this issue and will provide an update when we have more information.
