As of 12:45 PM today, DHCP services have been fully operational. As a result of the disruption between 10:45 AM and 12:45 PM, users were unable to connect to the PSU wireless network. In addition, some users may have experienced a disruptions on their VoIP phones and wired connections.
Since 12:45 PM, wireless users have been able to successfully connect to the PSU wireless network, and all other services are operational.
After further research the issue has been determined to be a DHCP service and could affect not only Wireless but wired DHCP clients including VOIP phones. Further updates will be posted as more information becomes available.
An issue impacting Wireless University Wide has been brought to the attention of the IT Service Desk. Currently this issue is causing disruption to the wireless service. ITS is currently working to resolve this incident as quickly as possible.
