Original Alert

On 2/2/17, during the 5-7 am maintenance window, Data Center Services (DCS) and Enterprise Networking and Communication Services (ENCS) will be disabling IPv6 Router Advertisements (RA) and IPv6 Router Solicitations (RS) in the Data Center Network. This is being done as a security measure to prevent accidental or rogue IPv6 routers from redirecting traffic which could result in traffic interception and snooping.

This work is being tracked under change CHG0040077.
