Penn State IT will be performing maintenance on the network during the normal scheduled maintenance window, 5 - 7AM EST, Monday, January 8, 2018. This will cause all connections to University services to be temporarily disconnected. Services as estimated to return to normal functionality by 7AM EST.

There was a brief wireless degradation in the Residence Halls for authenticating to Penn State\'s wireless network. If you experienced issues authenticating to Penn State wireless, please try again.

The network is stable. Penn State IT continues to work with the vendor for resolution on the network connectivity problems.

The network is stable, however, as of 9:30 PM ET there have been reports of a degradation of the PSUWirelessSetup wireless network.  Penn State IT Staff members are currently investigating the issue and more information will be shared on the IT Alerts page as it becomes available.  Possible workaround includes locating a working wireless connection or using a phone hot spot.

At 9:21PM, a network disruption occurred. Penn State IT staff members are currently investigating the issue, and more information will be shared on the IT Alerts page as it becomes available.

At 8:01PM, wireless issues were reported for numerous West Residence Halls at UP. Penn State IT staff members are currently investigating the issue, and more information will be shared on the IT Alerts page as it becomes available.

All services are running as normal. Penn State IT and the hardware vendor are working together to troubleshoot the underlying problem.
