The issue was traced back to 5:30 AM and was a result of a firewall change. Additional impact affected ENCS staff and systems, in addition to the applications web server. This issue has now been resolved.

Original Alert

ENCS Is experiencing an issue with a server that hosts applications such as the ENCS Service Inquiry/Request Form, Card Access, and other service related forms typically accessed through the ENCS web site Users are receiving an error of “The service is unavailable” when they attempt to submit a form or access the Card Access application. Penn State IT staff members are currently investigating the issue, and more information will be shared on the IT Alerts page as it becomes available.
