The block has been lifted as of 7:10 p.m.ET, tonight. The delay in processing should now be gone.

Original Alert

As of 5:48 a.m. ET, on April 13, 2018 Hotmail began rejecting email sent by one of Penn State's outgoing email servers. Clients
such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Android Mail, and iOS Mail may have trouble sending email to addresses that end with
@hotmail.com or @live.com.

Penn State IT has implemented a fix as of 11:20 a.m . There will be a delay in the processing of these messages (approximately 1 hour), but they
will successfully be delivered without an error.  This alert will be updated as soon as more information is received.
