All students, faculty, and staff at all Penn State locations

IT SERVICE(S) IMPACTED:
Office 365 mailbox provisioning and User Managed Group synchronization to Office 365 will be unavailable.

DATE AND TIME:

Office 365 mailbox provisioning and User Managed Group synchronization to Office 365 will be paused from 5:00 PM ET on 09/14/2018 until approximately 12:00 PM ET on 19/15/2018.

NOTES:
This change only affects people who would be provisioned new mailboxes, or who are creating new User Managed Groups that are to be synchronized to Office 365, during the pause.

Students, faculty, and staff with existing Office 365 services will not be impacted. Current Office 365 groups are not impacted.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The synchronization between Enterprise Active Directory and Office 365 will be paused until completion of OneID release. While the synchronization is paused new users and new User Managed Groups will not be synchronized with Office 365. All changes will be queued and made once synchronization is resumed.

This alert will be updated after completion of the OneID release (CHG0053398).
