It was discovered that bad hardware on our primary tape robot caused this outage. A work around is in place. It is uncertain if the TSM service will be available...read more
TSM Server Outage

On Sunday night around 10:00 PM (22:00), TSM crashed with an un-expected error. The server was brought back online at 7:00 AM. Staff are investigating why TSM crashed.

The TSM software stopped functioning as of 15:17 today. It should be back in service by 16:00.

Hardware work on the TSM server failed to be done by 7:00. The service was generally available as of 7:55.

We had a back-end disk hardware failure which has caused on outage with TSM. No data was lost and the hardware has been fixed.
